- More than 70 years of combined teaching experience within our faculty, ranging from Pre-Sea Training to Degree Students to Post-Sea Modular candidates as well as training of Shore-based Middle Level Management personnel.
- Most of our instructors are still practically undertaking assignments on-board as consultants, auditors, inspectors and shipboard Safety Coaches. This allows for a more practical approach to the trainings taking into account actual current ship board practises.
- Track record of having trained close to 2,500 local seafarers, as well as from countries such as Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar and India.
- Almost 100% positive remarks from trainees, based on feedback obtained from the Course Evaluation forms.
- We were part of a Foreign Member State delegation [based on their invitation] to the Diplomatic Conference for the amendment to the STCW Convention [Manila Amendment], held in Manila from 21st – 25th June 2010.
- SEAMASTER is a member of the Malaysia Maritime Education and Training Association [MyMET], while our General Manager is currently an elected Council Member of MyMET.
